The context

Humanitarian crises are becoming increasingly complex and protracted. New challenges arise with the worsening of the climate crisis, which exacerbates the vulnerability of populations already affected by man-made disasters. Access to populations in need of humanitarian assistance is getting increasingly difficult, and the funding gap keeps limiting the financial resources of humanitarian operations. More than ever, aid workers and their partners need to come up with innovative solutions to address the growing humanitarian needs. International organizations and well-resourced structures have already invested in technology to assist them in their response. No-code tools can provide similar solutions without the need to hire a team of professional developers, therefore democratizing the use of digital solutions to support humanitarian operations. Our report "No-code for good. How no-code can strengthen adaptability in response and empower local actors" presents the opportunities of no-code technologies for the humanitarian sector. After a brief introduction of what no-code is and can do, the report delves into the applications of no-code in humanitarian contexts. It presents concrete examples of no-code use cases in humanitarian response and describes best practices in the use of no-code.   Download the report : No-code for good 2023 - Relief Applications
